Fight The Hypo is written and managed by a group of fourth-year evening law students at Catholic University law school (The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law). We’re a law school blog. We blog about life, law school and anything else that can distract us during class. But from time-to-time we’ll change it up on you and write about wine or restaurants or sports or family.

Fight the Hypo’s Editor is Derek Karchner who blogs under the nom de plume “Casebook Sherpa.” Derek works full-time in a non-legal profession. A part-time law student, he has been a published staff member on a law journal, served as an editor on that journal, worked as a Teaching Assistant and as a Research Assistant, participated in the law school’s Advocacy for the Elderly Clinic, and as a moot court team member in the INTA’s Saul Lefkotwitz Moot Court Competition. To connect with him on any number of various social networks, check out his Google Profile or e-mail him: editor [AT] fightthehypo [DOT] com.

His colleagues here come from various backgrounds and stages in life. They’ll share insights and thoughts about legal developments and how they get through an evening law program while working at real jobs.

Incidentally, we’ve learned enough to know that we should tell you that: We’re not your lawyer. None of the views expressed here reflect those of our school or our employers and they are certainly not to be taken or relied upon as legal advice!
