That being said, the people of Alaska are entitled to reelect whomever they wish to represent them in Washington. I don't see you complaining about the fact that William Jefferson got reelected last week, too, Dr. B. Whether you like him or not, it is very unlikely that Stevens will get punted from the Senate, so you're stuck with him for another six years. Having lobbied Stevens on a variety of issues for almost five years, I can honestly say that he’s a prick.

That being said, the people of Alaska are entitled to reelect whomever they wish to represent them in Washington. I don’t see you complaining about the fact that William Jefferson got reelected last week, too, Dr. B.

Whether you like him or not, it is very unlikely that Stevens will get punted from the Senate, so you’re stuck with him for another six years.
