5 Blogs and 5 Bloggers
Fight the Hypo has been tagged for the first time (by Victoria Pynchon at the Settle It Now Negotiation).
Our “5 Things” task is to list 5 non-law blogs that we like and link to (or tag) 5 blawgers who should do the same.
First, these blawgers are tagged:
There are several non-law blogs that we follow religiously and you should check out:
Deadspin. You can’t find a better blog to satisfy both your sports and gossip addictions than DeadSpin. Add it to your news reader… NOW!
WineLibraryTV. This daily video blog features Gary Vaynerchuk tasting wine without the elitist foolishness that comes with many wine critic shows and columns. If you’re interested in wine and want permission to just enjoy it and develop your own palette then check out WLTV. It also won’t hurt your reputation among the partners at your firm.
Freakonomics. Written by the author of the famous book, this blog follows economic and cultural trends that you won’t find elsewhere. Topics this week have included: “the n-word,” “how to think about sex,” and “econ jokes.”
Seth Godin. Seth is a marketing guru, but his insights have application far beyond the marketing world. He talks about consumer experience, branding, cultural understanding… all things that law firms should care about.
43folders. “Right now, 43 Folders is focused on an arc about how to improve the quality of your career and life by managing your attention in a way that allows you to work your ass off on the creative projects that matter most to you.” It’s written by Merlin Mann whose Twitter stream is friggin hilarious and who is a regular on This Week in Tech.
