		<description>I read that too....and also that japan has technology that gives people like a 30 second warning that an earthquake is about to happen, but our gov&#039;t has yet to authorize funding for similar technology here...

But hey, we have more things to spend our money on (or, more accurately, run our debt up), such as the Iraq War, universal healthcare for all, and pointless federal agencies (which, in turn, create cushy federal government jobs that allow full time employees to gain a competitive advantage over our beloved fight the hypo blog hosts in law school)
