Fortunately, most of the evening students who chose to quit their jobs rather than work and go to school have since decided to transfer into the day program.

When we finally get our class ranks, I will probably write an article about how those of us who kept our jobs and persevered did versus those who quit their jobs to study full time. If my hypothesis is correct, it didn’t really help them. But it still pisses me off.

It’s not a requirement, though some schools require evening students to sign something stating that they will continue to work while going to school.

The issue is that the evening program is designed for people who are working. Those of us who have kept their jobs are at a distinct disadvantage to those who have not, particularly since grading is on a curve.

My only issue that I would add on there would be “people bitching about me being over competitive.”
